Founded with the mission to create a dynamic platform for both emerging and established African career women, our blog is dedicated to exposing the uniqueness of being born and living in the beautiful African continent.

Our sole vision is to foster global unity and condemn racism, that’s why we share true stories that transcend boundaries within Africa, poetry that ignites real emotions, and arts, books, music, fashion and food. We strive to be a beacon for literary excellence, celebrating creativity, diversity, and the art of storytelling by smart African females.

Sarah founded “Miangos” with the aim of creating a dynamic and inclusive platform that celebrates diverse African female voices and fosters literary/ cultural innovations. She is committed to nurturing both new and established African female writers, providing them with a space to share their stories and connect with a global audience.
Sarah Namondo Luma
Founder and Writer
Sarah Namondo is the visionary behind “Miangos”. With a passion for literature that began in her childhood, Sarah has always been captivated by the power of words to transcend boundaries and connect people.
She holds 3 Master’s degrees in International Legal Studies. All of which has honed her skills in critical analysis and creative writing
Professional and literary Journey
Before founding Miangos, Sarah built a diverse and accomplished career. Since 2021, she has worked as an online English language teacher on Preply and Cafetalk language platforms. Additionally, she has been the sole blogger and owner of “psalmsofsarah.com” since January 2022.
Sarah has a deep commitment to promoting human and refugee rights, evidenced by her four years (2019-2022) of experience writing and publishing articles about refugees for the Organization for World Peace. She also contributed several articles on godly topics to “godlytoday.com” during 2018-2019. From 2017 to 2019, some of her articles were published in the prestigious Handong International Law School newspaper.
Her literary achievements include having one of her poems published by “Wax Poetry Magazine” in 2023. Earlier in her career, in 2008, Sarah interned at “The Post Newspaper,” a prominent Cameroonian newspaper, where her published writings covered a variety of topics.

She is a firm advocate for diversity and female representation in the literary, fashion, culinary and music worlds, striving to ensure that “Miangos” reflects a wide range of perspectives and experiences.
